The Homestead.

Amongst the red dunes and swaying gumtrees you'll find Giralia Homestead. In the heart of the Pilbara the homestead is only a short drive from the Exmouth Gulf. 


Immersed in the rugged Australian Outback, with a backdrop of rolling, red dunes, our three, ensuite rooms provide a comfortable stay.

Guests have access to a large, equipped, commercial kitchen to prepare meals.  There is a small dining room or seating outside on the homestead verandah.

In the evening, watch the sunset and the stars come out. 




Experience the authentic Australian outback by camping in the red earth of the Pilbara. 


Our bush camp is full of atmosphere especially if you head to the communal camp fire which is lit most nights in the season at 6pm. Explore and go for a bush walk, 4WD to the fossil fields, browse the museum, catch the footy or video at our shearing shed cinema  or drive down to the beach if you have a 4WD. 


There are hot water showers, toilets, a laundry, book swap and shearers kitchen. The showers and toilets are  serviced daily. 


The quad is our budget style accomodation, with 14 rooms on offer, you have the choice of double, single or triple rooms.  You also have access to hot showers, the bathroom and shearers kitchen. 

Don't forget to stroll over to the camp fire at 6pm for drinks as the sun goes down and the stars come out (seasonal)



Staying with the family, or have a group of mates? Our self-contained cottage is available. Enjoy a cold drink on the verandah and watch the gumtrees sway, with the sunset or sunrise.  


It featuring three bedrooms (2 with queen size beds and one with 2 singles), a dining room, lounge, bathroom, kitchen and BBQ on the verandah.
